About the role

Our projects are more than just opportunities to make your mark; they’re an opportunity to stretch, test, and develop your expertise. Join our Regional Civils team as a Site Agent in Plymouth, supporting the delivery of our Devonport Project.

As a Site Agent, you will provide management, leadership, and control of a multi-disciplinary team comprising Sub Agents, Section Engineers, and Site Engineers throughout the project delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee a multidisciplinary team of Engineers and Sub Contractors
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained throughout the project
• Communicate the requirements of a safe system of work clearly and ensure adherence; suggest and implement improvements
• Take ownership of tasks and communicate outcomes clearly; manage others in this regard
• Work independently and seek opportunities aligned with your responsibilities, supervising others as needed

Who we're looking for

You will have the following qualifications and experience:

• BSc/HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or Civil Engineering projects
• Experience with NEC forms of contract
• SMSTS/SSSTS Tickets
• Tier 1 experience is beneficial but not essential
