Job summary

Browne Construction, a Renew Holdings plc subsidiary and a leading UK contractor, seeks a Site Agent to drive civil engineering and water infrastructure projects to safety, quality, and programme targets. You will lead on-site teams and coordinate subcontractors across complex works in southern England.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong knowledge of site safety, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience managing civil engineering, water, or wastewater projects.
• Strong site safety and resource planning knowledge.
• Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Experience with construction drawings & methodologies.
• SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS card are desirable, First Aid at Work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Monitor project progression and maintain accurate site records.
• Foster strong client relationships and support development of site teams.
