Job description

Kenton Black are recruiting for a Site Agent on a temporary basis. The client is a market leading established civil engineering contractor based in Scotland with works agreed until 2030 and beyond.

In this role, you will oversee an extension to an existing substation project in Aberdeenshire (South). Responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising and coordinating all on-site activities related to the substation extension project.
2. Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Liaising with main contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Monitoring and enforcing health and safety regulations on-site.
5. Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings.
6. Preparing and submitting progress reports to the project manager.

To be successful in obtaining this role, you must have SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualification. Work experience must be backed by positive working references.

As a reward, you will be paid a desirable hourly/day rate for the duration of the 12 month assignment. Local candidates will be preferred as no accommodation costs are on offer.
