Job description

Kenton Black is recruiting for a Site Agent on a temporary basis. The client is a market-leading, established civil engineering contractor based in Scotland, with works scheduled until 2030 and beyond.

In this role, you will oversee an extension to an existing substation project in Aberdeenshire (South). Your responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating all on-site activities related to the substation extension project, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will liaise with main contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, and prepare and submit progress reports to the project manager.

To be successful, you must possess SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications. Work experience must be supported by positive references.

The role offers a desirable hourly/day rate for the duration of the 12-month assignment. Local candidates are preferred, as no accommodation costs are provided.
