Farrans Construction is seeking a Site Agent to lead on-site delivery for the Living Water Enterprise. Working with the Senior Management team, you’ll drive safe, efficient and high-quality construction, taking ownership of activities on site, coordinating teams and supply chain partners, and delivering against programme, budget and client requirements.

• Proven experience supervising engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid knowledge of construction standards and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Oversee direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring all work meets time, quality, and budget targets.
• Provide technical support to overcome challenges and resolve queries.
• Manage setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction.
• Drive a proactive approach to health and safety on-spot.
• Coordinate temporary works, inspections, and testing regimes.
• Engage with stakeholders and attend key meetings to represent Farrans.
• Monitor commercial performance and ensure accurate submission of records for payments.

Farrans Construction is a proud delivery partner of Living Water Enterprise (LWE)—a groundbreaking £3.6 billion capital investment program and secure 12-year pipeline of work dedicated to transforming the region’s water and wastewater networks. This isn't just about moving muck and laying pipes. We are completely overhauling critical infrastructure, protecting local rivers, and pioneering low-carbon, nature-based engineering solutions.

The opportunity

We're seeking a Site Agent to play a key role in the successful delivery of this major civil engineering project. Working closely with the Senior Management team, you'll lead site operations and help drive safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery, ensuring programme, budget, and client requirements are achieved. You'll take ownership of construction activities on site, coordinate teams and supply chain partners, and identify opportunities to improve performance, productivity, and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid knowledge of construction standards and specifications.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications (CSCS/CSR card, First Aid at Work).
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
