Job description

Overview

Abatec is seeking a Site Agent on a freelance contract to join our client, a leading contractor, for a long-term highways project in Devon.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for delivering schemes inception to handover.
• Contribute to the day-to-day operations on site, including labour/plant/materials allocation, temporary works, health and safety.
• Ensure that projects are completed within budget, within programme deadlines and to our clients' technical specifications.
• Liaise regularly with the Project Manager, providing programme and progress reports.

Requirements

• ONC/HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working with highways maintenance and infrastructure schemes.
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS.

Salary and benefits include: £410 - £460 per day (PAYE Umbrella).
