Job description

Position: Site Agent
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Project: Tunnelling Works
Hours: Could be 07:00 AM - 15:00 PM or 15:00 PM - 23:00 PM
Rate:£400 Per Shift + Travel and Lodge Allowance
Duration: Long-Term Work

MUST HAVE:

  • Black or Gold CSCS Card

  • SMSTS Certification

  • 3-Day First Aid Certificate

  • Proven experience in tunnelling and heavy civil engineering

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Foundation Personnel are currently looking on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor foraSite Agenton amajor tunnelling infrastructure project based in Leiston, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled team delivering complex underground works in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of day-to-day site operations for tunnelling activities (TBM, SCL, NATM, Pipe Jacking, etc.)

  • Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards

  • Plan and monitor project timelines, construction schedules, and workforce deployment

  • Supervise direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring effective task allocation and high productivity

  • Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and procurement teams to align project components

  • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and regular HSEQ inspections

  • Monitor and report on site progress, incidents, delays, and risk management to the Project Manager

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third parties to ensure clear communication and project goals are met

  • Support budget tracking, cost control, and resource management

  • Maintain accurate site documentation including permits, inspections, quality records, and site diaries
