A leading infrastructure contractor in the UK is seeking a Construction Site Agent to oversee various construction activities. You will ensure all works are completed on schedule and within budget, while maintaining high Health, Safety, Environment & Quality standards. Qualifications

  • Clean Full Driving Licence required.
  • HNC or Degree Qualified preferred.
  • CSCS, IOSH or SMSTS qualifications necessary.

Your new companyOne of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working across a number of sectors including: transport, highways, water, energy and telecommunications.Your new roleAs a Construction Site Agent, you will be an integral part of the Construction Team, responsible for delivering all planned works across the network. In this role, you will contribute to the core objective of delivering high-quality highway services that benefit residents, businesses, and all road users throughout Suffolk. Your Duties:Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with required HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) standards.Support the Scheme Delivery Manager in developing construction programmes, phasing plans, and method statementsEfficiently coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.Ensure Construction Phase Plans, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place before work begins, maintaining safety standards throughoutLiaise with key stakeholders, including network managers, local authorities, community groups, and designers to ensure smooth project delivery.Take ownership of the commercial performance of projects, working closely with commercial teams.Participate in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and contribute to buildability reviews, including traffic management planning.What you'll need to succeedClean Full Driving Licence HNC or Degree Qualified (Not essential) CSCSIOSH/SMSTSWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
