Job description

Job Description

We're working with a respected main contractor who's looking for a Site Administrator to join their team on a 12-month temporary contract. This is a site-based role with a fantastic team known for being welcoming, supportive, and truly collaborative. If you're organised, tech-savvy, and experienced in construction environments, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role

You'll support site operations by ensuring documentation, compliance, reporting, and communication run smoothly across the project. You'll work closely with senior management and site teams to help keep things on track day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Administration: Upload and manage documents on systems like SharePoint, 4P, and shared drives. Maintain accurate daily site attendance using Biosite. Upload key Vistry documents to 4P and keep them updated. Keep waste management records up to date and generate monthly reports. Manage labour timesheets and track delivered materials. Support senior management with documentation, meeting notes, and reminders for key deadlines and updates.
  • Biosite System Management: Ensure operatives are logged in and inducted. Manage the delivery booking system and monitor/report any system issues. Provide attendance or access reports as needed.
  • General Office & Site Support: Keep site records well-organised (both digital and hard copies). Manage office supplies, PPE stock, welfare keys, and requisitions. Book maintenance or repairs as needed and ensure office space is tidy and functional. Arrange meetings and events, from calendar coordination to refreshments and tech setup. Track and report on local labour objectives for internal employment and training records.
What We're Looking For

Essential Skills: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams. Comfortable using SharePoint, PDF editors, and access control software (e.g., Biosite, MSite, Datascope). Experience working on construction sites and familiar with industry terms (RAMS, Hot Works, CSCS, etc.). Fluent in English with strong written communication skills (e.g., drafting letters, minutes, reports).

Desirable Experience: Exposure to document control platforms like Viewpoint for Projects, Conject, Business Collaborator. Understanding of material requisitions and waste management documentation. Knowledge of construction-related plans (e.g., Environmental Plan, CPP, F10). Awareness of health & safety principles, including reporting incidents, near misses, and observations.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to work with a great team on a high-quality project, with the support and structure of a respected contractor. The atmosphere on site is friendly, down-to-earth, and hardworking—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
