Job overview

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated senior SACT nurse to develop management skills and provide clinical and professional nursing leadership in the haematology/oncology department at the SROMC.

You must be reliable, enthusiastic, passionate about high standards of patient-centered care, and a professional role model. Recent experience of SACT delivery in a day case environment is essential. Leadership experience in SACT is desirable.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide expertise and leadership in SACT delivery within the Trust.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Support patients and families emotionally and psychologically during treatment.
  • Collaborate with the Unit Manager, Lead SACT Nurse, and MDT to ensure safe, high-quality care.
