A healthcare organization in England is seeking a passionate registered nurse with neonatal experience to provide high levels of compassionate care in our busy Special Care Baby Unit. You will join our team to provide high levels of compassionate nursing care to babies and their families and join us in our development forwards.
Our Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) is a busy Level 1 unit providing 10 cots in total. It comprises 2 HDU cots and 4 Special Care cots, and a newly established 4 bedded Transitional Care department. We provide gold standard care to babies and their families from 32 weeks gestation, but also provide stabilisation for babies born before this gestation, or critically ill term neonates prior to retrieval by the Peninsula Neonatal Transport Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, innovative Qualified In Speciality (Q.I.S) nurses to work effectively within our SCBU unit and across the Child Health department. You should possess an RN, RSCN, RN Child, or RM qualification. Completion of the Neonatal Modules is desirable although a willingness to work towards achieving them would be considered. Experience of working within a neonatal environment is desirable and evidence of Leadership and change management in the clinical area would be beneficial.
