As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will provide day-to-day leadership to the nursing team, facilitating the efficient working of the multidisciplinary team to assess care needs, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
This role involves coordinating the running of the Intensive Care Unit, working collaboratively to ensure a good patient journey, and supporting and developing team members. Support and education in managing the acutely unwell patient will be delivered at ward level when working in the Outreach role.

The Intensive Care Unit is a fourteen-bed unit admitting level 2 and 3 patients requiring complex care, supporting their rehabilitation within the unit and on their journey home.
The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to meet patient needs compassionately and to a high standard, aiming to help patients achieve their optimal health post-critical illness or ensure a peaceful death.
