The Children's Surgical Unit day unit has 9 beds, offering care to children and young people requiring various surgical procedures.
The Children's Outpatients Department hosts consultants and nurse-led clinics, including specialist clinics such as Diabetes, Neurology, Respiratory, Vaccination clinics, and many other general paediatric clinics. Visiting consultants from specialist hospitals in Nephrology, Rheumatology, Surgical, and other fields also support us.
You will be based within the Children & Families Division, mainly at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw Hospitals. The Division is progressive and innovative, continually striving to improve services for children, young people, and their families. Working as part of a team of nurses, nursery nurses, healthcare assistants, housekeepers, and medical staff, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of evidence-based patient care.
It is essential that you are registered as RSCN / RNC with proven experience as a Staff Nurse and professional post-registration development. Evidence of ward management experience under supervision is also required.
To coordinate the activities of the units to ensure the highest standards of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized holistic patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per year (Pro Rata)
