A leading health care provider in Wales is seeking an experienced Sister/Charge Nurse for their Adult Critical Care Unit. The role involves ensuring high patient care standards, managing team dynamics, and leading in the absence of Senior Sisters. The ideal candidate will have significant critical care experience and a postgraduate qualification in this specialty. The position offers a salary range of £39,263 to £47,280 per annum, pro rata.

A Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse post has arisen for enthusiastic, motivated experienced Critical Care nurse within the Adult Critical Care Unit in Glangwili General Hospital.
A Sister/Charge Nurse within Critical Care Unit will have the responsibility of ensuring a high level of patient care at all times throughout the unit. They will be actively involved in, as well as supervising, the patients' care, managing planned and unplanned admissions and ensuring correct staffing levels.
They will need to be confident in leading the Unit in the absence of Senior Sisters and be involved in coaching and developing more junior team members.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The successful candidate must have significant experience in critical care nursing, evidence of being able to lead a specialist nursing team and have a Post Graduate critical care qualification.
They should be a real team player, able to clearly communicate with those around them and have a calm approach to problem solving.
They should be committed to creating an environment of continuous improvement and learning to ensure the best possible standards of care are maintained at all times.
Finally, they will have to demonstrate a passion for a patient-centred approach through keeping the department organised and professional at all times.
