An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspirant Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to support the senior team in Ward 5a - General Medicine.

This role offers a chance to join a dynamic team and take on new challenges. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to new ways of working based on service needs are essential.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing clinical and managerial leadership for nursing and support staff.
2. Deputising for the Departmental Manager in their absence.
3. Leading on clinical practice and departmental issues.
4. Working clinically across all areas of the department.
5. Ensuring safe care delivery through assurance checks and audits.
6. Supporting Band 7 staff with monitoring EST, device training, e-roster, performance management, and ward leadership.
