An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse based in the Milford Haven District Nursing Team. The post holder must have previous community experience and have completed the Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing (SPQ).
This role offers the chance to support or manage a delegated caseload within the Community Nursing Team, providing high-quality and complex care management to patients in their homes, under the guidance of an experienced District Nurse Team Leader.
The post holder will ensure high standards of care are delivered to patients and their families/carers within the home or clinic environment, liaising with staff, patients, carers, and other agencies to ensure appropriate delegation, risk management, and effective communication.
Alongside Band 6 District Nurse colleagues, you will deputise for the Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader in operational, professional, quality, clinical, and resource management duties.
