Job summary
An exciting job opportunity has arisen to support Blundell ward as a substantive Ward Manager.
The ward specializes in head and neck cancer, oncology, haematology, and ear, nose, and throat, including both surgical and medical specialties. It particularly focuses on caring for patients with airway concerns and those with altered airways, such as tracheostomy and laryngectomy care.
Blundell Ward is based at Guy's Hospital with 24 beds, including 4 side rooms.
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and skilled leader to join our dedicated nursing team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the ward's smooth operation, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient resource management, and staff and patient well-being.

You will be supported by deputy managers, a Matron, a Head of Nursing, and a Practice Development Nurse to thrive and develop within the Surgical Oncology directorate.
