Job Description: SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4, London, United Kingdom (On-site)

When you join our Engineering Team at Telent, you'll be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities and assisting with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Ensure SISS assets are well maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved
  • Utilise field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion
Candidate Profile:

This is an entry-level role suited for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. The Level 4 Technician will fit well if you have experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of Office 365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • The role requires working nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
