Job description

Job Description: SISS Installers

Our client, a leading company in the Rail - Communications sector, is currently seeking 4 SISS Installers for a contract position. As an SISS Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of CCTV cameras, termination, and testing of CAT 5 cables, as well as the installation of new power, fibre, and CAT 5 cables. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge rail communication systems.

Requirements
  • Experience in SISS (Station Information and Surveillance Systems)
  • Proficiency in Fibre Optics
  • Knowledge of CAT5 Structured Cabling
  • Familiarity with CCTV installation
Key Responsibilities
  • Terminate and test CAT 5 cables
  • Install power, fibre, and CAT 5 cables
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Heights
Additional Information

Initial 6-week night shift (21:00 - 07:00). Key skills required include PTS (preferably OLEC), Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Heights. IPAF 3a/b is ideal but not necessary.
