A leading Chartered Wealth Management and Financial Planning firm is seeking an experienced Pensions Administrator (SIPP Accounts Executive) to join its highly regarded pensions team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of SIPPs who is passionate about delivering first-class client service.

Leicester hybrid working available

Salary: up to £38,000

Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus based on performance

Role Overview

The successful candidate will act as the primary administrative contact for a portfolio of SIPP clients, supporting financial planners and liaising with solicitors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure smooth and compliant service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and administer SIPP arrangements, including contributions and transfers
  • Prepare and review retirement benefit illustrations, drawdown schedules, and cancellation notices
  • Support pension property transactions, including funding and borrowing arrangements
  • Maintain accurate records across all systems and ensure timely FCA reporting
  • Process death benefit and illness claims in line with internal and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with clients, financial planners, paraplanners, and professional third parties
Essential
  • Solid knowledge of SIPP structures, pension legislation, and financial planning principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with industry software such as Intelliflo, Excel, and document management systems
