Qualifications

  • Prior experience in reactive building maintenance required.
  • Familiarity with identifying leaks and rectification techniques.
  • Ability to carry out maintenance on pitched roofing, guttering, and slating.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and work on maintenance projects across roofing.
  • Safely work at height and conduct repairs.
  • Install replacement Siphonic Rainwater Outlets.

Your Role

As a Siphonic Systems Supervisor, you will oversee and deliver high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services, focusing on siphonic drainage systems. Working at height, travel, and flexible working patterns will be regular parts of the role.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and work within teams on maintenance projects across commercial and industrial roofing
  2. Safely work at height daily
  3. Undertake guttering, cladding, and roofing repairs/replacements
  4. Install or replace Siphonic Rainwater Outlets (RWOs)
  5. Carry out repairs to siphonic drainage systems, including replacing blocked pipework, swapping flex-seal couplers for electrofusion sleeves, installing or upgrading system bracketry
  6. Install supplementary systems (e.g., overflow spitters) to ensure compliance with British Standards
  7. Conduct system servicing, blockage removal, and fault detection
  8. Use portable devices for risk assessments and reporting
  9. Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  10. Represent the business professionally, taking pride in quality workmanship

Essential Skills
  • Prior experience in external reactive building maintenance, identifying leaks & rectification (pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, flat roofing, & commercial sheeted roofs)
