Job summary

James Fisher and Sons plc is seeking a Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Analyst in Inchinnan, Glasgow, to support planning, forecasting and data governance across Sales, Bids, and Operations. The role requires working across locations with three days in the office in a hybrid setup.

You’ll drive master data quality, lead time, cost and planning data, and contribute to automation initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented and skilled in Excel, ERP systems

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or Data Analytics or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting data and supporting decisions.
• Confident Excel user with data analysis and reporting experience to drive planning.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems, master data management and material planning in manufacturing or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate lead time, capacity and cost information to support Sales and Bid teams.
• Coordinate SIOP forward-planning requests for pipeline opportunities.
• Develop, implement and administer the monthly SIOP review process with planning data.
• Maintain the Master Data Baseline Dashboard with governance and accuracy.
• Lead cleansing and validation of lead time, cost and planning data using ERP tools.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production to audit data quality and review processes.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities while maintaining process documentation.
