An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 5 Administration Manager to join our busy but rewarding Single Point of Access (SPA) team.

SPA is a triage service enabling members of the public, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to make referrals to community health services.

Main duties of the job

The Admin Manager will manage, support and coordinate the administration support for the Single Point of Access (SPA) team ensuring the Admin Team across both sites work to processes which are efficient and effective, meaning our patient experience is of the highest quality and free from avoidable delays in accessing treatment and interventions at home which will prevent hospital admissions. Working closely with the operational and clinical management teams to ensure our admin provision and data reporting is supporting all parts of the service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
  • Ensure comprehensive, effective and efficient administration provision for the SPA service.
  • Provide management support, performance development and wellbeing across the wider Admin Team including splitting time across both sites.
  • Work with the Data Team and Telecommunications Team to ensure SPA performance reports relating to the performance of the service are available and monitored on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for exception reporting and communicating key messages of risk areas within performance monitoring to the Operational Management Team as quickly as possible.
