2. Level 3 Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
3. Level 4 Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

Purpose Of The Role

Working as a member of the Engineering Team, you will develop plant reliability and operational capability by implementing robust maintenance strategies and resolving plant issues and breakdowns to ensure downtime is minimized. As a high-calibre, Avara Foods Multi Skilled Engineer, you will demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving, quick decision-making, and routinely apply your technical expertise across a wide and varied equipment and technology base.

Your Key Responsibilities As Level 3 Engineer Will Include

• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance activities with consideration for safe plant operations and product quality.
• Developing and enhancing maintenance systems and procedures.
• Participating in continuous improvement activities to develop plant capability and equipment reliability.
• Contributing to plant improvements, modifications, and capital investment projects.
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting engineers and operational technicians as appropriate. Acting as a subject matter expert on plant equipment and technologies.
• Familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment is required.

What We Are Looking For

• Time served Apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
• Level 3 technical certificate & NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering discipline.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and dynamic approach to safety.
• Strong technical leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills.
