A local musical theatre training school in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Singing Teacher to lead classes for children aged 6-18. The role requires teaching a variety of musical styles and preparing students for performances. This part-time position covers maternity leave, offering 9 hours of teaching per week with the potential for additional work. Candidates must have experience with children and a creative approach to teaching.
Singing Teacher position available. Friday 5-8pm and Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Stagecoach theatre arts are looking for an experienced singing teacher to teach singing classes and technique to children aged 6-18yrs on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Classes are split into three age groups (6-8 / 9-11 and 12+) and each class has an hour of singing teaching per week. Initially the position is 9 teaching hours per week covering Maternity leave for 3 terms - with the opportunity to extend this.
PVG is essential
We are a musical theatre training school but cover a range of repertoire from classical to pop and musical theatre. We are ideally looking for a creative and dynamic individual who can teach musical theatre numbers, as well as pop and ensemble / choral numbers.
Must be experienced working with children and be confident in putting together pieces for a show. We work towards a high standard of performance but the classes need to be energetic and fun.
Dates required: from 22nd August 2025 (Term time classes plus additional holiday workshop work available). Classes take place in Edinburgh City Centre.
Pay is £87 (£29/hr) per three hour session.
(Opportunities to cover additional classes as well as teach during holiday workshop weeks)
