MBDA UK Ltd in Bristol is offering a 1-year Undergraduate Placement for a Simulation and Modelling Engineer in 2027. You will develop and validate dynamic models of weapon systems using MATLAB, Simulink, Fortran and C/C++. The role is onsite, with team support and potential graduate opportunities.

Applicants should be undergraduates in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computing or Natural Science, and be eligible for BPSS security checks. Closing date is 4 January 2027.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate studying towards a degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics, Computing or Natural Science.
• Interest in mathematical modelling and programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate dynamic system models for MBDA products.
• Work with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, Fortran and C/C++ to build simulation software.
• Collaborate with teammates in an Agile environment on multiple projects.
