Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Simulation & Modelling Engineer to join a highly technical engineering organisation working across complex, multidisciplinary projects. You will turn physics and mathematics into models and use simulation to solve challenging engineering problems.

You’ll work at the intersection of physics and software and systems engineering, developing models and simulations that support system design, integration and verification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience developing engineering models and/or simulations.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and understanding of physical principles.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.

Responsibilities

I’m recruiting for a Simulation & Modelling Engineer to join a highly technical engineering organisation working across complex, multidisciplinary projects.

This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding how complex systems behave, turning physics and mathematics into models, and using simulation to solve challenging engineering problems. You’ll work at the intersection of physics, software and systems engineering, developing models and simulations that support system design, integration and verification.

You’ll ideally have:

• A degree in Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience developing engineering models and/or simulations
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a good understanding of physical principles
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
• An understanding of systems engineering principles

And experience in at least one of the following:

• Simulink Embedded Coder or HDL Coder
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Radar signal processing

You’ll be working on technically challenging problems where good modelling and simulation can directly influence the design and performance of complex systems.
