A leading defense organization seeks engineers, physicists, or mathematicians interested in modeling complex systems. This role involves integrating models and supporting various teams, offering a broad exposure to technologies and development processes in guided weapons systems. The Surface Launched Air Defence and the Future Systems Groups of the Simulation and Modelling department are seeking talented engineers, physicists, or mathematicians with a keen interest in modelling dynamic complex systems.
Salary: Up to £46,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team, after the offer stage.

Our modelling team integrates system and subsystem models to support performance engineers, weapon systems simulators in synthetic environments, in-service support teams, customer training, and engineering teams developing new or improved product concepts.
This role offers a broad view of various technologies used in our products across multiple projects, providing in-depth exposure to modelling tools and processes, and the chance to develop skills in large-scale model development supporting MBDA’s guided weapons portfolio.
Our department is part of an international MBDA subject area, with team members in Bristol and Stevenage, and strong links to sites in Italy, Germany, and France.
