Job summary

Simmons & Simmons is seeking an interim Employment Lawyer to support a leading global bank in a part-time capacity. You will provide day-to-day advice on employment issues, draft and review policies, and manage litigation aspects.

The role spans hires and exits and HR matters across EMEA and Asia, with at least 4 days in the office per week and a 4–6 month engagement starting mid-November. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with strong employment law expertise.
• International experience across EMEA and Asia, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Able to work autonomously and collaborate as part of a wider team.

For additional information on the firm, please visit .**Main purpose of the role:**Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from employment lawyers who are interested in supporting one of our clients, a leading global investment bank.This is expected to be a part time role working at least 4 days per week, with 2 days in the office commencing in mid-November for a 4-6 month period.This role will involve advising on a broad range of employment matters such as:* Advising on day-to-day employment issues.* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment documentation, policies and procedures.* Managing employment litigation claims and pre-action matters.* Advising on hires and exits, including complex and senior departures.* Managing legal and HR issues arising in EMEA and Asia jurisdictions.**Person specification:*** You are a qualified lawyer with strong employment law expertise.* International experience, including managing employment and HR issues across EMEA and Asia, ideally in a regulated environment.* You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.* You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.* You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
