Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an interim contentious construction lawyer to support our Dispute Resolution practice group. The successful candidate will handle construction disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and adjudication, and will work with the firm’s standard‑form construction contracts.

Person Specification
  • Qualified lawyer with proven experience in construction disputes, gained in a leading private practice or in‑house legal team.
  • Experience in building safety related disputes is ideal.
  • Strong experience in contentious construction law, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication.
  • Familiarity with standard‑form construction contracts such as JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and capacity to prioritise workloads under tight deadlines.
  • Must hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
