Job summary

Media Stream AI Limited in Manchester is seeking an experienced robotics simulation engineer to own and evolve the simulator used for training humanoid models.

You will develop high‑fidelity physics simulations, perform system identification to match hardware, run domain randomisation tests, and scale the simulation infrastructure to support large training campaigns ahead of the Manchester factory opening in Q1 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience with physics-based robotics simulation (Isaac, MuJoCo, Gazebo or equivalent).
• Experience in system identification and model validation.
• Experience with large-scale parallel simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-fidelity physics simulation of the humanoid and its environments.
• Own system identification so the model matches measured hardware.
• Run domain randomisation and transfer experiments; quantify the sim-to-real gap.
• Provide the scaled simulation infrastructure the training runs depend on.
