This role can be split into 4 days ward work (80%) and 1 day for personal development (20%, negotiable working pattern). These posts would suit doctors who have recently completed Foundation Training and are considering careers in Acute or Geriatric Medicine, Perioperative Care (Anaesthetics/ICU) and Emergency Medicine or General Practice.

In addition to ward work, the post holder will be encouraged to develop their clinical and professional skills with at least one day a week dedicated to allow time to attend specialist clinics and MDTs for personal development.
