EngineersOfAI in Bristol is seeking a Silicon Verification Engineer to ensure that Graphcore RTL aligns with architecture specifications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining silicon quality prior to physical implementation.
This position requires strong verification skills and collaboration with Architecture, Logical Design, and Physical Design teams to drive quality in AI compute programs. You will have the opportunity to influence decision-making based on technical reasoning directly.
Own verification that turns complex silicon architecture into reliable AI compute hardware.
As a Silicon Verification Engineer, you will help ensure Graphcore RTL matches the architecture specification. Your work will protect silicon quality before designs move into physical implementation.
You will sit at the point where architecture, logical design and verification meet. That gives you direct influence over how issues are found, understood and resolved before they become costly.
You will plan verification, define coverage, generate tests and diagnose failures. You will also improve shared infrastructure that helps engineers move faster and see problems earlier.
The work is technically deep, but the impact is clear. You will help build the discipline, pace and quality needed for ambitious AI compute programs at scale.
The verification team works very closely with the Architecture, Logical Design and Physical Design teams. Work is shaped through clear plans, coverage goals, test results and direct technical feedback.
You will be expected to take ownership, follow evidence and keep communication open across sites. The team values people who speak up early and make complex problems easier to solve.
Decisions are made through technical reasoning, shared data and practical trade-offs. You will have room to lead from your expertise, not just your title.
