Sompo has a unique opportunity for a SIIE Reporting Accountant in our European Regulatory Reporting team in SI Insurance (Europe), SA.

The Regulatory Reporting Team is dedicated to producing high-quality regulatory reports that meet the stringent requirements of both our regulators and internal stakeholders. Our team ensures each report is accurate, comprehensive, and insightful, facilitating informed decision-making and demonstrating compliance with relevant standards. We focus on quality and precision to support our organization's strategic objectives and uphold trust with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity:

What you'll be doing:

1. Take ownership of the Solvency II Reporting process, including scheduling and coordinating deliverables with various teams.
2. Prepare and analyze Quarterly and Annual Solvency II Reports, including SFCR and RSR.
3. Prepare and analyze quarterly Solvency Capital Requirements with related commentary.
4. Collaborate with other Finance functions (Tax, Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting, Controllership) and departments (Actuarial, Claims, Operations, FP&A) to enhance reporting processes.
5. Handle other regulatory requests (NAIC) to various bodies.
6. Prepare year-end Statutory Accounts for various entities, liaising with departments to gather necessary information.
7. Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

What you'll bring:

• Previous Solvency II experience, preferably in a P&C Insurance Company.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Proactive mindset with initiative to improve processes.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills and a desire to develop within Finance.
• Fully qualified Accountant.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
