Job description

Due to our continuous growth at RSS Infrastructure, we are seeking Signalling Team Leaders with SMTH for Signalling (S&T) Maintenance in Hereford.

This is a great opportunity for Full Time, Mid Week, Nights and Weekends, for a minimum of 6 months.

Duties:

  • Lead and oversee maintenance work on signalling equipment in accordance with Network Rail standards and schedules.
  • Perform fault-finding and problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and investigate system failures.
  • Mentor and support the signalling team.
  • Report issues arising during maintenance, installation, and renewals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Signalling Team Leader with SMTH.
  • Must hold a minimum SMTH core qualification, including points, cables, diversion of circuits, aspect testing, and G110 testing.
  • Car driver with the ability to travel and work away from home if necessary.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends when required.

  • Level Crossings inc AHB, MCB, AOCL+B (843) and Vamos
  • AZLM Axle Counter
  • Modular Signalling, Frauscher Axle Counters, Aster / Ti21 Track Circuit (for those covering Shrewsbury SM section)
