AtkinsRéalis is a global leader in design, engineering, and project management, with over 80 years of experience. We are seeking enthusiastic Signalling Design Verifiers and Senior Verifiers to join our rail Signalling Business at various UK locations, including Glasgow, York, Birmingham, and Swindon. We offer hybrid working options and modern office facilities to support collaboration.

In this role, you will develop your design skills across all project phases, from feasibility to installation and testing. Our projects range from major resignalling schemes to station enhancements and track renewals, providing diverse opportunities to grow your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Support design delivery throughout the project lifecycle, including verification of signalling designs and reports.
• Ensure all deliverables meet company procedures, contractual, and statutory requirements within set deadlines.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and contractors through meetings and correspondence.
• Mentor and support junior staff members.
• Coordinate with other technical disciplines and external organizations.

Requirements

• Current IRSE Signalling Principles Designer Licence (1.1.550) and Signalling Design Verifier Licence (1.1.160).
• Extensive experience in mainline signalling design, familiar with UK standards and processes.
• Proven verification experience across project phases and technologies.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and risk management in signalling design.
• Preferred: PTS certification.
