Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or higher degree in communications, software engineering, physics or mathematics (preferred).
• Expert-level DSPl/algorithm development and C++/OO programming experience required.
• Experience in link-level and/or system-level simulation and FPGA/ASIC context is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of 5G NR/6G and 3GPP standards, RAN1/RAN2.
• Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and MATLAB-based data analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect L1/L2 signal processing blocks for link-level and system-level simulators.
• Architect vDU L1/L2 software and RU L1 hardware IP.
• Develop reference models for real-time software and FPGA/ASIC testing.
• Collaborate with UK and Japan teams across hardware and software domains.
• Apply agentic AI to automate software development and improve workflows.
