Job Description:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Signage Engineer/Technician to join a busy multi-disciplinary company.

The Role

  • Assist with all aspects of traffic management and parking signs design, procurement and implementation
  • Monitor the progress and delivery of the design and procurement work already under commission
  • Assist in the financial monitoring of the work undertaken, providing proactive information to inform decision makers
  • Assist with the development and management of the temporary sign designs
  • Assist with the development and management of the procurement of signs
  • Assist with the development and management of the sign installation
  • Work closely with all suppliers (including Venue Transport Managers, Local Authorities and contractors) to ensure the successful installation of signage as designated
  • Participate in the change management protocols adopted within the team
  • Assist in the performance review of suppliers and provide feedback
  • Knowledge of designing and implementing on site venue signage and banners.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience as a Sign Engineer
  • Experience of temporary sign designs
  • Experience of developing signage schemes
  • Experience of assisting with large signage schemes
  • Experience of delivering signage schemes to a tight timescale
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and to short term timescales
  • Ability to provide information in a timely manner to assist decision makers
  • Ability to balance priorities and provide a professional service to customers
  • Knowledge of appropriate health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of highway and traffic legislation
  • Experience of effectively communicating with a range of Stakeholders
  • Experience of writing technical reports
  • Experience of using logistical management systems
  • Knowledge of events operations
