Job summary

Signs Express Oxford is seeking a skilled Sign Maker / Fitter to join our Didcot, Oxfordshire team. You will work on diverse signage projects, applying graphics, printing and installing across vehicles, panels and windows.

The role requires at least 3 years of sign-making experience, familiarity with plotters and large format printers, and a valid driving licence. It is a full-time position with on-site parking and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly team at Signs Express Oxford as a Sign Maker / Fitter.

As a key member of the production department, you will thrive with the diversity of work our centre handles every day, giving you an ideal opportunity to develop new skills, make a difference and grow with the business.

Duties will include:

• Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including window graphics, panels, fascias digital wall coverings and vehicles.
• Carrying out installations using power tools and access equipment
• Interpreting briefs accurately with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques
• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl

About you:

• A minimum of 3 years plus experience making and installing a wide range of signage.
• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators
• Driving licence
• Reliable, good timekeeping and strong work ethic
• Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team
• A strong understanding of the importance of health & safety

This is a permanent, full time position working Monday-Friday 08.00-4.30pm based in Didcot Oxfordshire. Part time may be considered (salary pro rata)

Salary From £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
