Job summary

Norse Security is recruiting a Casual Security Officer in Norwich to help protect the public, staff and high-profile sites across the region.

You will carry out regular patrols, attend call outs, complete log reports and maintain key security procedures while delivering friendly, professional customer service at all times.

An enhanced DBS check is required; SIA or Security Guard license and first aid training are preferred, with overtime available and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• SIA or Security Guard License and first aid training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience as a security officer/guard.
• A keen eye for detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Completing log reports.
• Attending call outs to buildings on sites and escalating if required.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service across all sites.
• Carrying out regular internal and external patrols.
• Maintaining and holding keys to premises.
