Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide cover across client premises, with a view to fixed shift patterns as opportunities arise. You will be trained and deployed to cover holidays and sickness, with day, night, weekend, and bank holiday hours.

A strong focus on customer service and professional conduct is essential. Applicants must hold a valid SIA Front‑Line License; CCTV license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front‑Line License is essential; CCTV license desirable.
• Full UK driving license with reliable transport or own vehicle.
• Ability to pass BS7858 vetting and maintain up‑to‑date training records.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the site with regular patrols and reporting.
• Brief visitors and contractors; verify sign‑in/out per site policy.
• Process deliveries and paperwork in line with quality procedures.
• Set/unset alarms for out‑of‑hours security provision where required.
• Adhere to safety documents and raise recommendations to improve.
• Keep training records current and maintain professional standards.
