Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA licensed Security Officer to provide holiday and sickness cover across client premises with the potential for a fixed shift pattern. You will be trained and integrated into our team, enjoying internal development opportunities and a pathway to permanent roles.

Shifts include days and nights (07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00). We support progression, a supportive culture, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of our Real Living Wage commitment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
• Confident to establish and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking, and under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle or reliable transport.
• Able to pass BS7858 vetting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed, sign in and out of the site.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork per site procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards.
• Set/unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security as needed.
• Comply with site waste management procedures.
• Complete daily logs, handovers, incidents, and site reports.
• Maintain training records including first aid and fire marshal training.
