Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer for on-site duties in Methill, Fife. The role covers 54 hours per week across days, nights, and weekends with patrols, access control and incident handling.

The ideal candidate will hold an essential Front‑Line SIA licence, preferably also a CCTV licence, and possess strong communication and IT skills. We offer a supportive environment with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License is desirable.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to pass BS7858 vetting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors to site are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.
• Record entry and exit of deliveries on site, processing paperwork per site procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards and times.
• Set and unset primary/secondary alarms for out-of-hours security where applicable.
• Comply with site waste management procedures and health & safety documents.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, shift handovers and incident records.
• Keep training records up to date, focusing on first aid and fire marshal training.
