Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking Mobile Retail Security Officers to cover multiple supermarket locations around Mansfield. You will deter theft, protect people and stock, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence (DS or guarding), enhanced DBS clearance, and the flexibility to travel between sites. A full UK driving licence and reliability are preferred for this mobile, multi-site position.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) and be able to pass enhanced DBS checks.
Right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence preferred, own vehicle a bonus.
Retail security or customer-facing experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Provide a high-visibility security presence to deter theft and protect people, property and stock.
Carry out regular patrols across store areas and perimeters.
Monitor CCTV and identify suspicious activity in real time.
Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies quickly and effectively.
Produce clear incident reports and liaise with store management as needed.
Deliver professional customer service and assist with queries.
