Careers - SIA Licenced Security Guard- West Yorkshire

We are looking to hire multiple SIA Licenced Security Guards/SAC (Site Access Controllers) to cover days/nights at our rail compounds on a part time basis in either Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Morley, Batley, Mirfield or Ravensthorpe.

Although these roles will be part time to start, they are expected to develop into full time roles for those suitable, if desired.

Job purpose:
Working for this successful organisation as a Security Officer working from our static sites and/or company vehicles you will be responsible for the daily security service on your chosen assignment.

Please note all candidates will be required to pass a clean drug and alcohol test at induction before commencement in role.

Duties and responsibilities (Guard):

• Providing security services to our sites within the rail industry
• Providing a professional security presence
• Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
• Providing protection for customers, property and staff – carry out patrols and search and emergency procedures
• Carry out other duties as agreed by client

Minimum Requirement:
Front Line SIA licence essential.
Driving Licence (car) and own transport essential.

Be reliable and view punctuality as important
Be willing to travel to sites between Huddersfield and Batley
Have excellent communication skills, verbally and written
Possess good customer service skills
Be IT literate
Have a professional demeanour with sound judgement
Be capable of working on your own initiative
Previous guarding experience would be a distinct advantage
Some knowledge of the Rail Industry would also be advantageous
