Job summary

Showsec, the award-winning venue and event security specialist, is seeking SIA Door Supervisors to join the Bristol team. You’ll help maintain a safe environment for customers and staff, communicating effectively in loud venues and delivering excellent customer service.

We offer industry-leading training and clear career pathways from Steward to Head of Security, plus flexible shifts to fit around your commitments. Applicants must be in or near Bristol and hold an in-date SIA licence.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK
• SIA Door Supervisor licence required
• Experience in event security or willingness to start and train welcomed

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post event checks
• Assist with ingress, egress and queue management
• Manage conflicts and conduct safe, lawful ejections
• Check passes, accreditation and tickets
• Patrol venues and respond to incidents
• Monitor crowd for distress and report hazards
• Assist with evacuation procedures as needed
• Enforce venue policies and license requirements
