Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Southampton is seeking a Shuttering Carpenter to build and install timber and system formwork on civil projects. You will create shuttering for foundations, columns, beams and slabs, working closely with steel fixers and groundworkers.

The ideal candidate has proven shuttering carpentry experience, holds a CSCS Card, and is reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious on site. This is a contract, full-time role based in Southampton with on-site work.

• Previous experience in a Shuttering Carpenter role.
• CSCS Card holder required.
• Strong team ethic and reliability on site.

The role:

As a Shuttering Carpenter, you will be responsible for

• Building and installing timber and/or system formwork
• Constructing shuttering for foundations, columns, beams, and concrete slabs
• Working closely with steel fixers, groundworkers and site management

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a Shuttering Carpenter position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
