Hill McGlynn are pleased to be working with a reputable residential builder to recruit CSCS Shuttering Carpenters for an exciting new build residential project in Hythe, with work expected to run until May 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and reliable individuals to join a well-regarded team on a long-term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Constructing and dismantling formwork for concrete structures.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber or metal formwork.
  • Ensuring work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Working closely with site supervisors and other trades.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a shuttering carpenter in construction is essential.
  • Valid CSCS card (required).
  • Ability to work accurately from drawings and plans.
  • Strong knowledge of formwork systems and concrete structures.
  • Good level of physical fitness.
  • Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
