Job summary

Wood is recruiting a Pipefitter for a three-week shutdown project at Wilton, Teesside. Start date 5 September 2026. You will install, fit, and repair piping systems, interpreting isometrics and drawings to deliver high-quality work within tight shutdown schedules.

Applicants must have proven industrial Pipefitter experience, relevant pipefitting qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds), strong safety discipline, and the ability to work in confined spaces and at height on critical plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments, preferably within oil, gas, or related sectors.
• Competent in reading piping docs and installing systems.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in fast-paced shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems (valves, fittings, equipment).
• Interpret isometrics, blueprints, and specs to plan tasks.
• Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes per standards and regulations.
