The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8. This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work with flexible shift options and excellent support.

Assessments Available ASAP. Night shifts only with varied start times and potential weekend work. Join a welcoming on-site team and enjoy guaranteed work throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience.
• Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical).
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift.
• Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy.
• Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams.

Hours

Night shift positions only
Typical start times fall between 17:00pm and 20:00pm
Typically Monday to Friday but may be weekend work at times

Pay Rates

• £18.50 between 6am - 10pm
• £20.00 between 10pm - 6am
• Weekend £25.00
